This is a picture done for the illumination workshop on "Dizajn Zona" forum (basically a thread where users discuss methods of improving & optimising render time/quality). Modeling done by pailhead (great work btw ;) ), illumination & rendering setup by me. I'll probably make a version with some normal textures, as soon as find some time for a long render :)

Render time: around 16 min for illumination and 15:25 min for actual picture. + some small post work in Photoshop.

Excellent lighting... I'm guessing you've got GI and IL in there? Any caustics?

picture is done in 3ds max 8 and rendered with finalRender Stage-1. i turned on the GI and the GI Sky Light and then put 2 aditional lights to make a better effect and to cast some sharp shadows. There are some caustics from the windows (but of lower intensity) and a Volume Light effect.
